In the class in which we focus on these types of words, we work in pairs to be able to investigate and discover some and what they mean for English and in the original language. Here are some that we discovered together with my partner Nancy: French: Ballet Champagne Spanish: Mustang Armadillo Mosquito Taco Italian: Umbrella Violin German: Pretzel Quartz Russian: Vodka Arabic: Bazaar Japanese: Kamikaze Karaoke Geisha Yiddish: Mazel Tov Oy Vey Nosh Shalom  I leave you a link with more information, and yes, with many more words of this style:  Words in English: Loanwords.
